RDMPRESS is a non-partisan publication focused on stories that highlight the structural problems of global capitalism, regardless of the political, social, or even the historical timelines in which these manifest.
As such, we reject the topical constraints many information outlets follow, and do not practice access-journalism or promote audience-capture through the attention economy. Our motivation is to produce reporting that is contextually relevant and illuminating for our readership, rather than chasing the news cycle.
RDMPRESS was founded by Raul Diego Medina (RDM), independent investigative journalist, and documentary filmmaker. After years of working in mainstream and so-called alternative news environments, RDM saw the need to take a different approach and launched his first solo publication in 2021, that mostly centered on the intersection of technology, institutional finance, and civil liberties.
The lessons from that experience now pass to RDMPRESS, which has a much broader editorial mandate and seeks to present the events of our rapidly changing world in a different light, that helps us better understand their genesis, how they affect us, and what we might be able to do about it.
